This professionally-built 1936 Chevy Coupe was built from the frame up. The car originally came from New Mexico and had virtually no rust or body damage. This coupe is all steel, neither Bondo nor fiberglass was used anywhere on the vehicle. All of the original interior wood was removed from the body and doors and was replaced with steel. The body's interior walls, the door's interior walls, the fenders and running boards were sandblasted and Rhino-coated. The Gold Mist exterior and the Almond interior colors were chosen to give this custom-built street rod an elegant look.
The clean appearance, Boyd Coddington wheels, chrome grille and engine compartment contribute to the car's overall eye appeal. Some of the interior features include Cadillac bucket seats, power driver seat, power windows, air conditioning, multi-disc CD player and Dakota Digital gauges. The car is powered by a fuel-injected 350hp Ram Jet 350ci crate motor in front of a Phoenix 700R4 transmission and Ford 9' rear end. The car is equipped with a Heidt's Super Ride II front suspension, power steering and power disc brakes. The car has been driven less than 2,500 miles since its completion. No expense was spared when this car was built.
