Starting with a new 2010 Camaro Super Sport, under the direction of Jimmy Richardson at Big Pop's Garage, Classic Automotive Restoration Specialists, Inc created a modern day muscle car. The SSX is all about performance. The SSX is a registered trademark and the trademark goes with the car. It is 1 of 1. All of the cars original drivetrain was removed and installed in its place a custom C&R Racing aluminum radiator and 427cid LS engine topped with a Harrop HVT 2300 supercharger producing a tire shredding 829hp and 811lb/ft of torque. A Transzilla 6-speed Tremec transmission from Rockland Standard Gear with custom gear ratios is connected to a one-piece carbon fiber driveshaft.

Transmitting all the power to the wheels is a prototype BSP-12 rear differential with 3.73 gears and a Wave-track differential from Barber Speed & Performance coupled to 1450hp axle shafts. Bringing the SSX Camaro to a stop are Harrop 6-piston calipers on the front clamping down on 15' rotors and 4-piston calipers with 13' rotors in the rear. The stock interior has been removed and completely re-stitched with complimentary orange stitching and custom SSX inserts added to the headrests. On the exterior a bold orange stripe has been added symbolizing the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport paint scheme.

The hood is a one-off carbon fiber 'air extractor' combined with ground effects kit from Unrestricted Motorsports. Also added are custom SSX graphics and BOZE Apex custom forged 3-piece wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tires and a 2' DSE suspension drop and performance sway bars. The SSX looks bold and performs bold, 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, 60-0mph braking in 103 feet and a top speed in excess of 200mph. From the Jimmy Richardson Collection.
