This 1957 Cadillac Fleetwood sedan is powered by a completely rebuilt matching-numbers 365ci V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. The drivetrain was rebuilt, and the car has been repainted in the original color. It was previously owned by highly recognized American disc jockey Alan Freed, who first referred to the music he was playing as "rock and roll" and used this car extensively with celebrities. One celebrity who took a particular liking to the Cadillac was Buddy Holly, who convinced Alan Freed to sell it to him and even put a deposit down. Sadly, before the rock star could take ownership, he lost his life in a plane crash in February 1959.
