Designed as Cadillac's answer to the Mercedes-Benz SL500, the Allante was built to compete in the luxury convertible marketplace and show the world what the company could really do. Built between 1987 and 1993, the Allante was designed and partially built by Pininfarina - during production, bodies were built in Italy and flown 4,600 miles to Detroit, MI, for final assembly by Cadillac. This Allante was built in 1993, the final year of production for the car. This 1993 Cadillac Allante convertible features the most powerful engine available in the car, a 4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine, which produces 295hp and 290 ft/lbs of torque.

This is connected to a 4T80E 4-speed automatic transmission and is equipped with the advanced Active Road Sensing Suspension System, which was only available for 1993. Finished in a black-over-black color combination, the exterior paint contrasts against the chrome wheels and grille. The interior features the optional fully electronic LED instrument and control panel, along with a Delco Premium Symphony Sound System. This Allante has been a lifelong Washington car. With 14,289 miles (title reads exempt).
