$30,250 USD | Sold

Having undergone a recent restoration, this Gran Sport 400 features a 4-speed manual transmission and VIN-matching engine with its original 'Star Trek' air cleaner. It has $46,000 in receipts that go with the car. The whole drivetrain has been rebuilt, the original matching-numbers block was bored .040 over and was rebuilt. The engine and heads were upgraded to Stage One; heads have bigger valves and three-angle Viton seals. The cam was upgraded to .472 lift. It's also equipped with a rebuilt Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual transmission. The posi-traction rear end has 3.08 gears with new ring & pinion set and seals.

Other features include new power disc brake set-up, upgraded new front and rear sway bars, new coils around car and the entire front end was rebuilt. It runs and handles better then new. It received one repaint over its original sheet metal, and the original bumpers and trim are in excellent shape. The interior is mostly original and also in great shape. It has new weatherstripping throughout and the air conditioning has been upgraded to a new style. This Gran Sport 400 is very solid under and thought-out; all the doors line up and close like they should.
