$44,000 USD | Sold

Finished in Sherwood Green paint with white interior and white top which complement the car exceptionally. This car has been completely restored to original condition, every detail has been addressed. Sloan Museum wholesale car order and microfilm information included. With factory power steering, power brakes, power windows, radio, rear spoiler, matching numbers 455cid engine and Turbo hydro-matic 400 transmission this is a highly optioned and comfortable car to drive. 1,184 of these GS 455 convertibles were produced in 1970. This car was built in Flint, MI and sold by Hilton Motors.

The Stage 1 package consisted of the high performance 455 with more aggressive camshaft, higher compression, unique cylinder heads, unique 4 barrel carburetor, aggressive ignition timing, 5/8' oil pickup tube, low restriction dual exhaust, and a higher numerical final drive. All of these components added up to one bad machine, rated at 360hp and 510 stump pulling ft/lbs of torque. This rare and magnificently restored convertible is an outstanding example of one of Buick's greatest muscle cars.
