The Electra 225 was introduced in 1959 as Buick’s top-of-the-line model. In 1961 Buick released their redesigned second generation Electra 225. The new design eliminated tail fins from the previous model and the car now featured a compact, more rounded design. For 1962, the Electra line was expanded to five body styles, with the second rarest being the Sport Coupe with only 8,922 examples produced. The second-generation Electra 225 was produced through 1964.

This 1962 Buick Electra 225 is presented in what appears to be Regal Black. The car rides on thin whitewall tires which are mounted on Rally style wheels. The Electra is powered by a 401-cid V-8 engine which is paired to an automatic transmission. Power equipment on the car includes power windows, steering and brakes.
