Offered directly from BMW M Motorsport, this M4 GT3 was campaigned by the factory in partnership with the successful Team WRT and was most notably raced by legendary nine-time motorcycle World Champion Valentino Rossi. Chassis number 22-046 was also piloted by fellow Works drivers Augusto Farfus, Maxime Martin, and Charles Weerts.

The M4 GT3 made its debut in the Monza round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup in April 2023, before Rossi and Martin combined to finish 2nd overall in race two of the following month’s Sprint Cup contest at Brands Hatch. A class win then arrived in the Road To Le Mans support race and outright victory was secured in the GTWC Europe Sprint event at Misano.

For 2024, Rossi entered the M4 GT3 into the flagship FIA World Endurance Championship. After a class podium at Imola, the BMW took on the 24 Hours of Le Mans but failed to finish owing to a crash. However, the #46 crew bounced back later in the season by snaring 3rd in the LMGT3 category at Fuji. Across a 27-race career, chassis 22-046’s finest display arguably came in its last outing. At the start of 2025, Rossi and co-drivers Weerts and Raffaele Marciello fought back from 12th on the grid to finish a fine 2nd overall in the Bathurst 12 Hour to complete a Team WRT 1-2 result.

This M4 GT3 presents today in an ‘end-of-race’ condition, sporting the livery worn for its final bow in Australia. A special, clear, matte lacquer has been applied by Walter Maurer to preserve its authentic battle scars. Best known for his contributions to the celebrated BMW Art Cars, Maurer has also signed chassis 22-046.

Dieser direkt aus dem Besitz der BMW M Motorsport angebotene BMW M4 GT3 wurde vom Werk zusammen mit dem erfolgreichen Team WRT und vor allem dem legendären neunmaligen Motorradweltmeister Valentino Rossi eingesetzt. Ebenfalls am Steuer von Chassis 22-046 saßen die Werksfahrerkollegen Augusto Farfus, Maxime Martin und Charles Weerts.

2024 nahm Rossi mit dem M4 GT3 an der FIA World Endurance Championship teil. Nach einem Klassenposium in Imola ging der Wagen bei den 24 Stunden von Le Mans an den Start, musste aber aufgrund eines Unfalls aufgeben. Später in der Saison gelang der Crew von Nr. 46 ein dritter Platz in der LMGT3-Kategorie in Fuji. Das schönste Ergebnis all seiner 27 Rennen erzielte 22-046 aber wohl beim letzten Einsatz. Anfang 2025 kämpften sich Rossi und seine Teamkollegen Weerts und Raffaele Marciello bei den Bathurst 12 Hours von einem 12. Platz in der Startaufstellung auf einen achtbaren zweiten Platz für einen 1-2 Sieg des Teams WRT.

Heute präsentiert sich dieser M4 GT3 in „End of Race“-Zustand wie beim letzten Rennen in Australien. Um diesen Zustand zu bewahren, und die Kampfspuren für die Nachwelt zu erhalten, überzog Walter Maurer den Wagen mit einem speziellen matten Klarlack. Maurer, bekannt für seine Arbeit an den berühmten BMW Art Cars, hat Chassis 22-046 auch signiert.
