This BMW M4 GTS is one of just 300 imported into the United States in 2016, and it is virtually showroom new with only 177 miles recorded on the odometer. The GTS is best described as a street-legal, track-attack machine. Its competition breeding has been proven on the challenging Nurburgring course, recording lap times equaling that of a Ferrari 458 Italia. The GTS takes an already potent BMW M4, removes 200 pounds of weight and adds an additional 68 HP.
The obvious signs of its motorsports-focused intention lies in five main visual cues: the massive adjustable rear wing mounted on the trunk lid, the lowered and aggressive stance, the installation of a roll bar and fire extinguisher replacing the back seat, the wide low aspect ratio Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires mounted on forged wheels, and a wide grille opening with a front splitter. The power is derived from a 3.0L direct-injected, twin turbo, double VANOS inline 6-cylinder engine that produces 493 HP. This enables the GTS to achieve a top speed of 190 MPH and accelerate from 0-60 MPH in a mere 3.7 seconds.
Power is transmitted through BMW’s 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with Driverlogic. Carbon-ceramic 4-wheel disc brakes provide the stopping power. Dynamic Stability Control augments the already sublime BMW suspension design and execution. Presented in Frozen Dark Gray Metallic accented with Acid Orange wheels and Acid Orange front splitter, this M4 GTS has a menacing look. This is also a vehicle that can be operated on the public roads and highways, and there are creature-comfort features and amenities that include navigation, heads-up display, hands-free Bluetooth connectivity and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio unit.
