This is an Arctic White Bentley Continetal Turbo R which was delivered new on June 22, 1993. It rides on 17" chrome Bentley wheels with power trunk release, with upgraded stereo and speakers and tan leather interior. These cars are very rare and do not come on the market often. An excellent example of one of the most beautiful and prestigious coupes ever produced. Powered by its 6.75 Liter turbo V8 under the hood with an abundance of power. These coupes came on the market an entry price of $268,000, with limited production. Its hand crafting came from Italy, its interior was hand crafted in Crewe, England. They took over four months to build and were in high demand.
This car is an extremely nice example. These cars are very rare and do not come on the market often. As these cars are becoming increasingly difficult to find, they are increasing in value. The Bentley Turbo R was a high-performance model produced by Bentley Motors limited. The "R" stood for the "Roadholding," to set it apart from its predecessor. It initially inherited the turbocharged engine from the Mulsanne turbo and also sported a re-tuned suspension and wider tires on alloy wheels, a first for a Bentley. From the 1987 model year, however the Turbo R's V8 engine was re-tuned with fuel injection for additional torque.
The suspension changes, though seemingly subtle, transformed the soft and less than well-controlled ride of the Mulsanne Turbo into that of a real performer. This Bentley has been well cared for and is documented with a great deal of paperwork regarding the car. The car looks and drives as you would expect a Bentley.
