Originally the Factory Press car, AML 1, when first registered, this is a very rare manual gearbox DB7 Vantage in excellent condition. This rare, manual gearbox, Vantage V12 was first registered AML 1 suggesting it was the original DB7 V12 launch car. Powered by the Cosworth-designed, 5.9-litre, 48-valve, all-alloy V12 producing a smooth 420bhp and 400lb/ft of torque. Beautifully finished in Grigio Titanio with a fabulous Bordeaux interior and Factory optioned with a sports exhaust, Vantage wheels, red callipers, heated seats, brushed-suede roof lining, light Walnut veneers on the dashboard, centre console and door inserts and AM-embossed Wilton carpets.
In the car's history file are service and maintenance invoices approaching £80,000 over the years. In 2011, at 51,000 miles, it had £8,000 worth of work carried out by Trinity Engineering including new front sub-frame mountings and bushes, the steering rack overhauled, and some powder coating. More recently, new brake discs and pads were installed and a service (c.£3,000) completed by AstonDB7.com. The indicated mileage is just over 59,700, with an MOT test carried out in July 2024 with less than 100 miles since then.
