The Lexus TX550h+ won’t make it into the 2027 model year. In 2025, it accounted for just 953 of the TX’s 57,346 sales, while the conventional TX500h hybrid found 10,740 buyers. Is this the end of the road for Lexus’s three-row plug-in hybrid?
The remaining TX350 and TX500h continue with unchanged powertrains. The TX350 delivers 275 horsepower, while the all-wheel-drive TX500h produces 366 hp.
Lexus is also broadening Matador Red Mica availability, adding red brake calipers to F Sport models and revising details such as wheel finishes and badging. The 2027 TX350 starts at $58,890, with the TX500h beginning at $72,410.
Will buyers miss the plug-in option, or is the regular hybrid a better fit for this SUV?
