THE WILDEST REBIRTH OF THE JAGUAR XJ220 💛

Ian Callum set out to make the legendary Jaguar XJ220 even more dramatic—and Callum Designs has delivered exactly that. Shortly after revealing its elegant silver road-car concept, the British design studio introduced the far more aggressive XJ220 GT1. Finished in eye-catching racing yellow, the latest creation pays homage to the fierce GT endurance racers that dominated the 1990s.

Compared with the original concept, the GT1 features a completely reworked aerodynamic package. A larger front splitter, aggressive dive planes, deeper side skirts, and an enormous rear wing mounted directly to the rear fenders transform the car into something that looks ready for Le Mans rather than the street.

Underneath, however, the company is keeping its options open. If a wealthy collector commissions the project, the car could retain the iconic 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 from the original XJ220, producing 542 horsepower / 550 PS and 475 lb-ft / 644 Nm of torque through a 5-speed manual transmission. That setup launched the original from 0–60 mph / 97 kph in just 3.6 seconds. Another possibility being explored is fitting a bespoke V12, finally bringing to life the multi-cylinder vision that Jaguar's 1988 concept originally promised but never delivered.

If this incredible machine became reality, would you choose the authentic twin-turbo V6 or a brand-new V12?
