The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale was already an exceptionally exclusive car, with just 33 examples planned and every one sold before production started. Now one of them has been transformed into something even more unique.
Known as Perla Nera, or “Black Pearl,” this is the only 33 Stradale wearing a completely exposed matte-carbon body. The finish goes far beyond simply removing the paint: Alfa Romeo hand-laid the carbon and carefully aligned the weave with the car’s contours, including a distinctive herringbone pattern on the roof and a V-shaped design across the hood.
The bespoke treatment continues inside. Working with Alfa’s Bottega team, the owner commissioned custom seats and headrests, Alcantara and carbon-fiber details, personalized controls and a matching numbered luggage set. Exterior badges were also removed in several areas to keep the carbon weave uninterrupted.
Underneath, Perla Nera retains the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, producing more than 630 hp and driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed DCT. Alfa claims over 207 mph / 333 kph and 0–62 mph / 0–100 kph in under three seconds.
