My Ford Mustang GT convertible is the most impractical and most fun thing I own. That 5.0-liter V8 roar is pure joy, especially on an open highway like the one to Abu Dhabi. Cruising with the top down along Jumeirah Beach as the sun sets is a Dubai experience everyone should have.

Of course, it's not all perfect. You have to be very careful with its long hood over speed bumps. Parking it in tight spots requires patience, and the boot is tiny. During the brutal summer, the roof stays up, but the air conditioner is strong enough to handle the heat.

It’s thirsty for petrol, and it’s not a daily driver for a family. But for weekend fun and that unbeatable feeling of freedom, it’s absolutely worth it. It’s a toy, and for that, it’s perfect.
