The 1989 Toyota Supra 3.0 (non turbo, 7M GE) is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.0 litre DOHC inline six producing roughly 190-200hp and about 185-187lb ft of torque. It uses Toyota’s W58 five-speed manual (or A340E automatic) and features double-wishbone suspension front and rear with optional TEMS electronic adjustable dampers. With a top speed near 136mph, it's more refined grand tourer than outright sportscar. Enthusiasts praise its smoothness and balance.
This impressive Toyota presents extremely well in white coachwork with a contrasting blue velour interior and has been owned by our vendor since March 1997. During his tenure the car has always been garaged and we are told not used if there is even the slightest chance of rain. The comprehensive MoT test history for this rare sportscar confirms the low mileage. We are also informed that this Supra has benefitted from regular servicing although there is little paperwork to confirm this. On a recent test the car performed as it should, and the pop-up headlights operated smoothly. Offered to auction with a V5 registration document and a valid MoT test certificate, this stylish Toyota appears sensibly priced given the current popularity of sportscars from the 1980’s.
