The meticulous owner acquired the car in 2009 and has maintained the Subaru where necessary and has kept it as original as possible, having only changed the tyres to a more suitable road going set, and fitted a standard size battery, rather than the original race battery which needed charging regularly. The Subaru has never competed and was imported into the UK from Japan by specialist importers, Litchfield Motors Ltd, on 23rd January 2004.
