This Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II is the long-wheelbase version of this popular model and comes with the automatic ride control suspension. It has no knobs or buttons to bother with as this car automatically makes its own adjustments from soft to firm. The 6.75-cid, 220-hp aluminum V-8 engine initially used twin SU carburetors, but the cars exported to the United States and Japan always had Bosch fuel injection, which was eventually standardized for all markets in 1986. The finish on these cars have always been known to be superior, whether it be the paint, burled walnut interior trim elements, Connolly leather hide interior and Wilton carpets.

Rolls-Royce utilized Citroen’s hydraulic self-leveling suspension at the rear and performs flawlessly. Other mechanical equipment includes four-wheel power disc brakes and a three-speed automatic transmission.

The top on the car is Everflex Beige and is in beautiful condition and seems to be original, along with the Magnolia paint. The trim is clean and shiny and the Beige and Dark brown leather interior is in good condition. The car runs and drives well with no major issues. It was donated to the AACA Museum in 2010 and has 25,100 miles on it. The Museum has no documentation on the car prior to it being donated, but the previous owner stated the car was all original and was never in an accident or had any paint work done on it. The factory toolkit is in the trunk and also comes with the factory owner’s manual.

Although the vehicle starts and runs well, it has been part of a collection for the last few years; the buyer is advised that it may require some degree of re-commissioning before placing it into routine service.
