In April 1983, Renault launched a new vehicle with a very modern design: the Renault 11. This model followed on from the Renault 9, which had been a great success since 1982. It met the expectations of customers attracted by sporty driving. Yes, it was the GTI craze, and the Renault 11 boasted 105 hp and a cool chassis! It quickly became a fabulous tool for rally preparations in Gr. N and Gr. A throughout Europe. The car presented in these pages is a Turbo version with 105 hp, launched in 1985 and fully prepared a few years ago for historic rally events. It underwent a major Gr.
A preparation, with some very high-performance parts: large intercooler, oil cooler, 160 hp engine, short-axle gearbox, Bilstein suspension on ball-and-socket joints at the rear, large brakes, Annex K-compliant roll cage, new Sparco bucket seats, etc... Numerous victories in historic rallies in the Centre region, including several scratch and podium finishes for its owner/driver. Always very well maintained between outings, with a file of invoices to back it up. Attractive valuation given the eligibility of this high performance car: Tour de Corse Historique, Coeur de France, etc. PTH valid since September 2023, car ready to hit the road!
