As standard Porsche practice has established, the introduction of a new model is almost certain to be followed by an “S” version, meaning more power, stickier handling, an upgraded drivetrain, more capable braking and upgraded interior amenities. That translates into an exhilarating leap from zero to 60 MPH in 2.9 seconds and an estimated top speed of just under 200 MPH.
