After an absence spanning two generations of 911, Porsche revived its attractive Speedster design for the 997-type Carrera S in a limited production run of 356 cars. The 84th example offered here was specified in Carrara White with a black soft-top roof to complement a similar two-tone colour scheme for the interior as black leather features white accents. Special styling cues include the extended front apron, side skirts, G-series 911-style rear wheel arch protectors, and 19-inch Sport Classic wheels finished in black.
Holding a 23 February 2011 date of production, this Speedster was built for the Netherlands and configured with heated front seats, Sport Chrono package, plus a Bose surround sound system. Boasting just two owners from new, the 911 was subsequently acquired by The Curated Collection in April 2016 via the August SA dealer of Ohain, Belgium.
This car was serviced by Kronos, an official Porsche Centre based to the south of Brussels, in May 2022 at a cost of €2,291. Two years later, the odometer displayed 9,136 kilometres from new at the time of cataloguing, while the Speedster is accompanied by its owner’s guides in their leather pouch. This car makes for a truly wonderful example of Porsche’s legendary Speedster model.
Après une absence sur deux générations de 911, Porsche a ressorti du catalogue l'emblématique Speedster pour la 997 Carrera S, avec une série limitée de 356 voitures. Le 84ème exemplaire proposé ici a été commandé en "Carrara White" avec capote noire, pour compléter un intérieur affichant un thème deux-tons en cuir noir avec inserts blancs. La carrosserie de cette voiture comporte des éléments spécifiques comme un bouclier avant spécial, des jupes latérales, des protections d'ailes arrière style 911 série G et des jantes Sport Classic de 19 pouces de couleur noire.
Avec une date de production au 23 février 2011, cette 911 Speedster a été fabriquée pour les Pays-Bas et vendue neuve avec des sièges avant chauffants, un pack Sport Chrono, ainsi qu'un système hi-fi Bose "surround". N'ayant connu que deux propriétaires depuis qu'elle est sortie d'usine, cette 911 a rejoint en avril 2016 "The Curated Collection" par l'intermédiaire de l'agent Porsche August SA, d'Ohain en Belgique.
Cette voiture a fait l'objet en mai 2022 d'une révision chez Kronos, Centre Porsche officiel basé au sud de Bruxelles, pour la somme de 2 291 € et, deux ans plus tard, au moment de rédiger ce catalogue, son compteur indiquait 9 136 km d'origine.
