The Porsche 911 has proven to be one of the most long-lived sports cars of all time—a legacy of success that can be traced to the earliest and most stylistically pure short-wheelbase variants of the mid-1960s.
Chassis 300751 is one such example. One of the first 1,000 Porsche 911s built, it rolled off the Stuttgart production line in 1965 and by 27 September of that year had been registered for the road in Sweden. A selection of period photographs on file document the car taking part in an event at the Nürburgring.
The Porsche is believed to have remained with its first owner until his death in 2014, at which point it was inherited by his son. He kept the car for a further four years before selling it to the consignor via Premium Cars of Värmdö, Sweden.
In 2019, the car was taken to Hartman + Köster in Bielefeld, Germany which was charged with investigating an oil leak. As a result, from May to September of that year, the 911’s unnumbered factory replacement engine was subject to a full rebuild with an upgrade to 2.2-litre specification and installation of a new clutch. Prior to this work being carried out, the consigning owner states that the car was re-sprayed and that its original factory interior was reinstalled.
Smartly presented and with uprated performance, this early 911 would make an excellent addition to the garage of any Porsche enthusiast and is sure to draw endless attention wherever it is driven.

Ce châssis 300751 en fait partie. C'est l'une des mille premières Porsche 911 construites ; elle est sortie des lignes de production de Stuttgart en 1965 et, le 27 septembre de cette année, elle a été immatriculée en Suède. Quelques photos d'époque présentes au dossier retracent sa participation à une manifestation qui s'est déroulée au Nürburgring.
On pense que cette voiture est restée chez son premier propriétaire jusqu'au décès de celui-ci, en 2014. Son fils en a alors hérité ; il l'a conservée encore quatre ans avant de la vendre à son actuel propriétaire, par l'intermédiaire de Premium Cars, de Värmdö (Suède).
En 2019, elle a été confiée à Hartman + Köster, à Bielefeld (Allemagne), pour un problème de fuite d'huile. A cette occasion, entre mai et septembre de l'année, son moteur, qui était un moteur de rechange d'usine non numéroté, a été refait en totalité et porté à 2,2 litres, et un embrayage neuf a été monté. Le vendeur mentionne qu'avant ces travaux, la voiture avait été repeinte et que son garnissage intérieur d'origine y avait été remonté.
D'une belle allure et dotée de performances améliorées, cette 911 d'entre les premières constituerait un très bel apport à la collection de tout passionné de Porsche. Elle attirera à coup sûr le regard, où qu'elle circule.
