As Porsche’s track-focused, yet road-legal, high-performance 911 variant, the GT3 is the storied marque’s most-powerful, non-turbocharged 911 model available. Performance is simply staggering, with Car and Driver test data including acceleration from rest to 60 MPH in 3.3 seconds, the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds at 124 MPH and a manufacturer-claimed 199 MPH top end with the 6-speed manual transmission.
Stopping from 70 MPH to zero is achieved in just 134 feet, and roadholding is a limpet-like 1.16 G on the test skid pad. Finished in brilliant Racing Yellow, this 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 is complemented by a black leather and Race-Tex interior with GT Silver stitching, accented by the deviated stitching interior package and bold body-color interior trim inlays. The driver is greeted by a steering column encased in leather, and seats are 18-way power adaptive sport seats with leather backrests and painted inlays. The center console lid is trimmed in Race-Tex upholstery and graced with Porsche’s iconic crest. The central tachometer is in in Racing Yellow as well, and so are the seat belts.
