The LeMans was introduced as the top-of-the-line trim upgrade to the Pontiac Tempest in 1961. While the first generation was designed as a compact car, it was redesigned in 1964 as an intermediate sized car. The LeMans can be differentiated from other models by louvers behind the front wheelwells and LeMans badging on the rear fenders. The 1965 LeMans falls into the second generation which ran from 1964-1967.

This 1965 Pontiac LeMans convertible is presented in red with a white convertible power top. The car is powered by a 326-cid V-8 engine paired to an automatic transmission. The interior of the car is done in Pearl Essence White and features bucket seats with console, clock, AM radio, day/night rearview mirror, factory air conditioning, remote sideview mirror, and seatbelts. Driver aids include power steering and power brakes.

According to the data tag, the car has had a repaint at some point in its life, having originally left the factory with paint code C, which translates to the 1965 Pontiac color Cameo Ivory.
