The iconic Morgan Plus 8 was introduced in 1968 and remained in production until 2003, achieving '35 years' status. Utilising the Rover light alloy V8, a well proven unit, combined with the LR Discovery gearbox, running costs and maintenance are comparatively minimal.

This rare Morgan has covered 14,000 miles, has a full main dealer service history and had only two owners from new.

Finished in Silver Frost with black leather interior, the factory specification includes: sports seats, chrome wires, mohair hood and tonneau, walnut dash with leather covered instrument panels, organ type accel pedal, spotlamps, badge bar, stereo and map reading light.

Most importantly, for anyone considering buying a Plus 8, this Morgan benefits from the following key features introduced in 1998:Galvanised chassis, stainless steel bulkhead, inner wings and bumpers, full aluminium body with 'long door' cockpit design , at last affording access to tall drivers.

This 2002 Plus 8 is deemed by collectors to be the best of all variants, owing to the 2003 model suffering cost cutting items, e.g. a 'quick release hood', unpainted underbonnet area, deletion of bumpers as standard and a 'flat' dashboard without 'frenched' instruments.
