A low-mileage Morgan Plus 8 in classic colours, offered from 38 years of careful single family ownership.
A much admired model within the Morgan line up, the Plus 8 combined the marque’s traditional lightweight coachbuilt construction with the power and torque of Rover’s all alloy V8, delivering one of the most charismatic British sports cars of its era. This example, believed to have been first registered in the early 1980s, is a particularly attractive car that has been in the careful ownership of its second keeper for an extraordinary 38 years and has covered just 17,796 miles from new. Finished in classic Ivory with a complementary beige leather interior, this Plus 8 presents with an appealing period charm.
Under the bonnet sits the naturally aspirated 3.5-litre Rover V8 producing around 155bhp, driving the rear wheels through a slick 5-speed manual gearbox, offering the traditional blend of performance, flexibility and open-air enjoyment that the Plus 8 is renowned for. It rides on 15" alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Cinturato P6 tyres, with the matching boot-mounted spare also wearing a Pirelli tyre. Its last documented service was carried out in July 2018 at 17,575 miles by Harwoods Ltd, including an engine oil and filter change and a strip and service of the brakes. The carburettors were rebuilt in 2025 by Harwoods Ltd, and the car runs very well.
