This is a full frame-off restoration on a non-rusted, Nevada all-stock and original Mercury Convertible. It has a correct matching Flathead V8 engine with the hard-to-find automatic transmission. This restoration was actually done several years ago and never driven. The private collector that paid for this restoration was a serious collector who demanded the best of the best. When the restoration was 95% finished he insisted on having it on display in his private museum. For that reason, the convertible top fabric needs to be replaced and the frame needs to be painted.
