This 1948 Mercury Woody Wagon is one of 1,889 produced in 1948. It has been restored from the ground up with less than 3,000 miles on the build. All of the wood was professionally restored, and the wagon features show-quality paint and body throughout in Seafoam Green. It features all-new glass and seals, and show-chromed bumpers. It is powered by a 350ci V8 engine with Edelbrock intake, 4-barrel carburetor, Sanderson headers and electronic ignition. A serpentine belt system powers all of the accessories.

This wagon is equipped with a TH350 automatic transmission, upgraded independent front suspension with power disc brakes and rack & pinion steering, and parallel leaf springs out back with a Ford 9' differential. The interior has been completely refinished in correct original patterns and materials for an authentic look, added carpet with extra sound-deadening and insulation underneath, wood-grain dash with restored gauges, Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system, and a Ron Francis wiring harness with a modern fuse panel and 12-volt operating system.

Extra care was taken during this build to keep the body and interior looking stock, while upgrading the drivetrain and chassis for a comfortable and reliable driving experience.
