Unveiled in 2009, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupé holds the distinction of being the first car designed and built fully in-house by AMG. The model also laid claim to the most powerful naturally aspirated series production engine in the world at the time of its launch, with the 6.2-litre V-8 rated at 563 horsepower—pipping the Ferrari 458 Italia by a small but no less significant one horsepower.
The example offered here was delivered in May 2013, finished in the elegant shade of Iridium Silver Metallic. The interior, meanwhile, is upholstered with Black and Anthracite Exclusive leather and features a Dinamica Black microfibre headliner plus AMG aluminium trim. The specification notably includes the desirable AMG performance steering wheel, silver-painted brake callipers, a rearview camera, blind spot assist, plus the memory package to adjust the seats, mirrors, and steering column.
Benefitting from a short chain of just two owners since new, this SLS AMG is offered from The Silver Star Collection of Mercedes-Benz greatest hits. It is accompanied by its owner’s guides plus tools.
Dévoilée en 2009, la Mercedes SLS AMG Coupé a la particularité d'être la première voiture conçue et fabriquée entièrement en interne par AMG. Lors de son lancement, ce modèle se targuait aussi d'être équipée du moteur atmosphérique le plus puissant du monde, un V8 de 6,2 litres développant 571 ch, ce qui dépassait tout juste la Ferrari 458 Italia.
L'exemplaire proposé ici a été livré neuf en mai 2013 dans une élégante teinte Iridium Silver métallisé. L'intérieur est, de son côté, habillé de cuir Black and Anthracite Exclusive et comporte un ciel de toit noir en microfibre Dinamica, ainsi que des garnitures aluminium AMG.
