Unveiled at the 2006 Detroit Motor Show, the S 65 AMG was powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 engine producing a maximum of 612PS (604bhp) and a mighty 1,000Nm (738lb/ft) of torque. Compared with its lesser siblings the S 65 AMG featured larger wheels, brakes and tyres; four exhaust pipes; modified and reprogrammed suspension for more responsive handling; and various changes to the interior.
Delivered new in Kassel, Germany, in September 2006, this left-hand drive, 5-speed automatic transmission S 65 AMG is finished in Obsidian Black with an Exclusive Leather Black/Anthracite interior.
