The Mazda RX7 Convertible combines the established performance of Mazda’s sports car with the whimsical exhilaration of open-top motoring in a fabulous- looking body. Interestingly too, the center section of the roof could be removed leaving the rear section erect, Targa style. Well appointed, RX7s were available with an automatic transmission, air conditioning, leather upholstery, a remarkable stereo system and a variety of power amenities. This 1988 example is presented in Sunrise Red with Charcoal velour interior, a 5-speed manual transmission and the famous1.3L fuel-injected rotary engine. Sold new at in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the 16,500-mile RX7 boasts its original paint, interior and top and comes with the original window sticker and warranty books.
