Produced as a two-door coupe between 1972 and 1976, the Lincoln Mark IV succeeded the very successful Mark III, and its handsome styling featured a long hood and a short deck. The upright grille design, reminiscent of Rolls-Royce, was continued, and the Mark IV introduced fashionable opera windows. The cars shared their basic structure with Ford’s Thunderbird, with both cars also sharing the Wixom, Michigan assembly lines.

The 1975 model was released with little change from the previous year. However, there was a landau vinyl roof option available. The rear window was nicely frenched with a lovely bright chrome band. These cars came standard with four-wheel disc brakes, cruise control and six-way power lounge seats. The Sure-Track brake system was standard on these models, and widely regarded as one of the first American cars to be equipped with ant-lock brakes.

Powering this luxurious automobile is a 460 cubic inch, 220 horsepower V-8 engine that is fueled by a four-barrel carburetor. Transferring power to the polished wheels is a fully automatic transmission.

This 1975 Lincoln Continental Mark IV is believed to be previously owned by the King of Rock ‘n Roll, Elvis Presley. It is finished in white over a two-tone white and brown interior. It has been recently serviced and is ready to drive or be put in a collection.
