This 1962 Lincoln Continental was used by President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jackie. The car was kept at the Kennedy compound in Florida. They used it to go to church on Sunday mornings and Jackie used it when she went shopping in Palm Beach. The Lincoln was purchased by A.K. Roart in the summer of 1963 before President Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963. Roart later donated the auto to the Elliott Museum of Vehicular Evolution in Stuart, FL. The vehicle remained in the museum until it was purchased by Kenneth E. Mausolf of Denver, CO, who was internationally known for his fabulous collection of antique, classic and special-interest automobiles.

After years of negotiation, Carr's One-Of-A-Kind-In-The-World Museum captured this prominently celebrated automobile. This Lincoln is powered by a V8 430ci engine, and has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, automatic transmission and air conditioning. The interior appears in its original Persian Blue with seats in excellent original condition. The exterior is Sultana White. These cars are most recognized for their suicide doors.
