Produced between 1971 and 1985, the Series III was the final evolution of the iconic off-roader before the introduction of the Defender in 1983. Essentially a facelift of the popular Series II, the Series III offered improvements over its predecessor such as a modernised interior and a synchromesh gearbox. This example is a 2,286cc diesel model that has a low mileage of just 78,500 miles. The vendor purchased the vehicle in 2015 and has had new front and rear crossmembers fitted. The car has been off the road and unused since 2019 however, so recommissioning is recommended. Good potential on offer as a project.
