As the successor to the much-loved CC platform, which spawned the likes of the CCR and CCX, the Agera of 2010 marked the most comprehensive restyling effort hitherto seen by Christian von Koenigsegg’s eponymous hypercar company. Instantly recognisable by its LED-enveloped headlights and integrated taillights, the Agera boasted a potent 5-litre V-8 engine fed by a brace of turbochargers to develop approximately 950 horsepower. All of that might was delivered to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

Just seven examples of the Agera (the name appropriately meaning both “ageless” in ancient Greek and “to take action” in Swedish) were produced before variants such as the S, R, and RS entered the picture. Among the incredibly limited pool is this uniquely specified car, which has become affectionately known to many simply as the Agera ‘X’. It was originally built in 2011 for a customer based in Germany and is most recognisable for its two-tiered, Formula 1-inspired rear wing in addition to the exposed, matte carbon fibre bodywork. While previous Koenigseggs had been presented without paint, their bodies were finished with a gloss lacquer. This car is thought to be the first completed by the factory in satin.

For the rest of the exterior, accenting red “claw” stripes on the front clamshell feature white borders to complement the pinstripes for the nine-spoke, turbine-style Vortex Generating Rims that were designed to improve brake cooling and increase downforce. The interior originally contained flashes of white leather but following a 2020 refit at the Koenigsegg factory, the cabin now comprises black leather and Alcantara with red stitching alongside the brushed aluminium switchgear. In an homage to the marque’s nationality, the colours of the Swedish flag have been incorporated into the seats.

As the “GS” logo on the side indicates, this car is associated with the “Ghost Squadron” tours that are run for Koenigsegg owners. Accordingly, the Agera is ideally suited for supercar driving and display events. Consigned to auction from a significant private collection based in Germany, the Koenigsegg showed 20,367 kilometres from new at the time of cataloguing. The car is accompanied by a TÜV certificate dated June 2023 and benefits from an October 2024 service carried out by official Koenigsegg dealership, SEMCO Motors of Munich, at a cost of €15,928 (invoice available to view on file).

More than a decade after first breaking cover, the Agera remains among the most spectacular, visceral, and fastest hypercars ever made. With examples found in very short supply, the well-known Agera offered here is ready to delight and thrill its next owner, and the many onlookers it invariably attracts.

Succédant à la plateforme CC très appréciée, qui avait donné naissance à des modèles comme les CCR et CCX, l'Agera de 2010 a fait l'objet de l'opération de restylage la plus importante jamais réalisée par la marque d'hypercars de Christian von Koenigsegg. Immédiatement identifiable à ses phares entourés de LED et à ses feux arrière intégrés, l'Agera était dotée d'un puissant V8 de 5 litres gavé par deux turbocompresseurs lui permettant d'atteindre la puissance de 950 ch environ. Cette dernière était transmise aux roues arrière par le biais d'une boîte à sept rapports et double embrayage.

Seuls sept exemplaires d'Agera (l'appellation signifie à la fois "sans âge" en grec ancien et "agir" en suédois) ont vu le jour avant que des variantes comme les S, R et RS n'apparaissent. La présente voiture, qui présente des spécifications uniques et que beaucoup appellent affectueusement l'Agera "X", fait partie de ce groupe incroyablement limité. Elle a été produite en 2011 pour un client basé en Allemagne et elle est reconnaissable principalement à son double aileron arrière inspiré de la Formule 1 ainsi qu'à sa carrosserie en fibre de carbone mate, non peinte. D'autres Koenigsegg avaient déjà été présentées sans peinture, mais leur carrosserie était recouverte d'un vernis brillant. Cette voiture est probablement la toute première réalisée par l'usine sous cette apparence satinée.

Pour le reste de l'extérieur, de fines bandes rouges ornent le capot avant et sont enserrées dans des filets blancs qui rappellent les liserés des jantes "Vortex Generating" à neuf rayons en forme de turbine, conçues pour améliorer le refroidissement des freins et augmenter l'effet de sol. L'habitacle présentait initialement des touches de cuir blanc mais à la suite d'une réfection en 2020 à l'usine Koenigsegg, il est maintenant doté de cuir et d'Alcantara noir à surpiqûres rouges, avec des commandes en aluminium. Les couleurs du drapeau suédois ont été intégrées aux sièges.

Comme l'indique sur le flanc l'insigne "GS", cette voiture est associée aux évènements "Ghost Squadron" réservés aux propriétaires de Koenigsegg. Ainsi, cette Agera est idéale pour les rencontres consacrées aux supercars, au volant ou en exposition. Provenant d'une importante collection privée basée en Allemagne de l'Ouest, cette Koenigsegg affichait 20 367 km d'origine au moment de rédiger ce catalogue. Elle est accompagnée d'un certificat du TÜV daté de juin 2023 et a bénéficié en octobre 2024 d'une révision effectuée par SEMCO Motors, représentant officiel Koenigsegg à Munich, pour un total de 15 928 € (facture disponible dans le dossier).

Plus de dix ans après sa présentation, l'Agera fait toujours partie des hypercars les plus spectaculaires, les plus rapides et les plus viscérales jamais fabriquées.
