The XJR offered full-size performance with all the comfort and handling the XJ8 was known for and today the model offers first-rate value for money. The XJR 100 was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Sir William Lyons' birth, only 500 were built with 82 being allocated for the UK Market. This 2002 model comes to the sale with recent service history and has enjoyed some tidying-up to keep it looking fresh. Fitted with the lovely 4.0 litre Jaguar V8 complete with eaton supercharger, known as the very last of the real XJ models. Our vendor reports the bodywork and black anthracite paint to be in good order, as is the external trim. Glass and wheels/tyres are said to be excellent.

The seats, in charcoal-coloured leather with red stitching, are in good order with dashboard and door cards in the same order. A new headlining has been fitted and the carpets are vendor-assessed as very good. Engine starting is excellent while its running and presentation are good, and the gearbox and brakes are very good, the suspension and axles being described as good.
