First registered on 03/08/2005 and specified from new with the Special Equipment option that offered a more luxurious leather interior, premium sound system and climate-control. The S-Type was praised on its release for its interior and ride and in particular, the 2.7 V6 twin-turbodiesel engine was described as 'a paragon of refinement, quietness and fuel economy' by the European automotive press. This 2005 facelift model, resplendent in Pacific Blue coachwork, doe-skin leather and pale wood veneers, benefits from the aforementioned 2.7 diesel mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Used for errands and motorway cruising by our vendor when over from his native Australia, the car was MOT'd at 53,913 miles in May this year. Offered without reserve and presented to auction with Jaguar book packs and service portfolio. The car would benefit from a service, attention to the suspension dust covers and two rear tyres.
