Representing the Jaguar Mark 2 in its ultimate, 3.8-litre, overdrive-equipped configuration, this example has had four previous owners; otherwise its history is unknown apart from what may be deduced from some D W Field restoration bills from 1990. Our vendor has owned the Mark 2 since August 2008, and copies of all servicing and MoT invoices since then (totalling £51,000) are on file together with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate dated 2015. The total cost of the 2008 restoration by Lane's Cars, including chrome wire wheels, was £37,000. Electric power steering, a Thatcham alarm, and electronic ignition are the other upgrades notified.
Offered with car are various items including a Haynes manual; Nigel Thorley's restoration guide; spare parts catalogue; jack and spare wheel; tools (most items); and side mirrors for window fitting.
