In 2015, venerable British sports and luxury car manufacturer Jaguar announced that it would throw its hat into the sport utility vehicle ring with the introduction of the Jaguar F-Pace (X761). Built on the same modular chassis platform shared with the high-end Range Rover Velar, the F-Pace featured a double-wishbone front suspension system paired with an Integral Link, multi-link rear suspension system. For motive power, the F-Pace came with a broad host of options including various diesel and gasoline-powered 2- or -3L turbocharged engines mated to either a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission with the option of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
But a select number of F-Paces were offered in SVR specification, which included Jaguar’s 5.0L AJ133 supercharged V-8 engine that produced 542 HP and 502 lb-ft of torque. When mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, this combination could hurtle the luxury SUV from 0-60 MPH in a scant 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 176 MPH. The example on offer is one of these special 2019 Jaguar F-pace SVRs finished in a striking blue exterior with black leather interior.
Equipped with the most powerful SVR specification engine and all-wheel drive, this potent SUV also sports quad exhaust, Sport/Eco driving modes, red-accented brake calipers and 10-spoke allow wheels shod with Pirelli Scorpion performance tires.
