Originally serving in Germany as a fire truck, this LWB Mk2 Transit has been fully restored and converted to right-hand drive, presenting as a fresh example with zero miles since completion.
First registered in Germany where it is believed to have served with the fire service before being imported to the UK in 1986. Subject to a full nut and bolt restoration including a conversion from left to right-hand drive. Powered by a 2-litre OHC petrol engine, originally producing 78bhp, coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. Finished in Olympic Blue, both inside and out, with new panelling and a ply-lined interior throughout. Fitted with front spot lights, RS front lip, and a tow bar which remains unused. No mileage covered since completion, a period of careful running-in will be required before regular use. Supplied with a photographic record of the restoration works.
