Recent restoration work includes a new white convertible top, also new carpet and seat belts. The interior, including the door panels, seats and dashboard, is in excellent condition with no rips, cracks or tears. The underbody, engine bay and engine have all been cleaned and painted. It has a period-correct 390ci V8 engine that has been upgraded with a 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust. It has a 3-speed automatic transmission and power steering. There are a couple of typical leaks, but it drives and shifts well. New master cylinder, bled brake system at the same time, and the brake pads have lots of pad left.

Dash indicators all work well, even the blue “cold” engine light works perfectly while it's warming up. All lights and turn signals work. The glass is in good condition all around, no cracks. The factory red, white and blue emblem on the dash still shines brightly. This Torino has the factory AM radio. It has a very roomy trunk that looks great and has the factory tire jack. The trunk includes a spare tire and newer OEM similar-type trunk mat that is gray with black stripes. The interior also features bucket seats, and the heater works great. The power top works very well, and its hydraulic pump was recently flushed and filled with synthetic fluid.
