This 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR 60th Anniversary Edition was optioned with the carbon-fiber track pack and Technology Package. It was then sent to Shelby American to be fitted with one of a reported 180 Shelby GT500KR Packages produced between 2020 and 2022. It is powered by a 5.2-liter V8 engine fitted with a 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger kit, backed by a Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. This car also received forged-alloy 20-inch wheels, height-adjustable suspension springs and return of the MagneRide dampers, in addition to a Borla exhaust system and Brembo brakes.
Finished in Velocity Blue with painted black stripes, the exterior features carbon-fiber bodywork and trim, and a Shelby Widebody Kit was added, along with HID headlights and a carbon-fiber rear wing. The interior features a reupholstering of the Recaro seats in black leather and suede, along with rear seat delete with harness bar, a Bang & Olufsen sound system and an 8-inch touchscreen with Sync 3 infotainment.
