• L'année 2010 marquera la fin de la Ford Focus après plus de 10 ans de compétition, marqués par deux titres constructeurs (2006-2007). Mais la Focus n'aura pas la fin escomptée, malgré une belle victoire de Mikko Hirvonen au Rallye de Suède l'équipe sera une nouvelle fois dans l'incapacité de contrer les Citroën de Sébastien Loeb et du jeune et prometteur Sébastien Ogier. Ford obtiendra malgré tout une place honorifique de vice-champion du monde (la troisième consécutive) et deux victoires de Jari-Matti Latvala au Rallye de Nouvelle-Zélande et au Rallye de Finlande.~

• Comme Citroën avec sa DS3 WRC, Ford fait entrer en scène une nouvelle voiture pour la saison 2011, la Fiesta RS. Elle est développée pour l'équipe Ford World Rally Team par Ford Europe et M-Sport pour une utilisation dans le Championnat du Monde des Rallyes, et sera engagée de 2011 à 2016. Construite à partir d'une Ford Fiesta « civile », elle est conforme au nouveau règlement World Rally Car pour 2011, basé sur les règlements Super 2000 existants. Elle est motorisée par le moteur 4-cylindres Ford 1,6 l turbocompressé (et non par le moteur atmosphérique 2 l des voitures Super 2000).~

• Première sortie, première victoire : la Fiesta RS WRC remporte son premier rallye en Suède en 2011 grâce à Mikko Hirvonen, tandis que Jari-Matti Latvala clôture cette première saison avec une belle victoire en Grande Bretagne. La fin de saison est marquée aussi par le départ de Hirvonen dans l'équipe de Citroën, avant de revenir pour la saison 2014, épaulé de Elfyn Evans, Champion du Monde Junior WRC en 2012, et de Robert Kubica en écurie semi-officielle.~

• La voiture qui illustre ces pages, numéro de châssis M-Sports #43, est celle utilisée par Hirvonen pour la deuxième moitié de la saison 2014, avant de devenir la monture de Evans pour la première partie de la saison 2015┤ Sur 10 engagements officiels au sommet de l'élite mondiale du rallye, #43 va terminer 8 fois dans le Top 5, et ramener 3 podiums à l'usine. En 2014, Hirvonen termine 4e du Championnat du monde | en 2015, Evans termine 7e. Au cours de sa période usine, la voiture est également confiée à la légende de Moto GP, Valentino Rossi pour le Monster Energy Rally Show 2014, à Monza.

Aussi à l'aise sur 2 que sur 4-roues, il termine 2e de l'épreuve┤ C'est d'ailleurs à lui que M-Sports revends #43 après sa période officielle. On va ainsi retrouver notre Fiesta RS WRC désormais engagée par le VR 46 Monster Rally Team au Monster Energy Rally Show 2016, une épreuve remportée cette année-là par The Doctor au volant de #43.~

• Si cette très désirable et efficace Fiesta RS WRC se présente à ce jour avec sa livrée Valentino Rossi, il faut noter qu'elle changea à nouveau de mains en 2017, et continua à courir à échelle nationale, en Italie, puis en France, aux mains de privés, parfois louée. Si la voiture n'a plus roulé en course depuis 2019, elle a néanmoins bénéficié d'une remise à niveau intégrale, avec notamment un moteur refait à neuf chez Pipo, la société qui avait développé ce moteur pour M-Sport┤ Voiture usine, pilotée par deux des meilleurs pilotes de leur génération, puis propriété de la légende Valentino Rossi, cette incroyable WRC est prête à rouler - et gagner à nouveau ! - et vendue avec un important lot de bord.~

The end of the season was also marked by Hirvonen's departure to the Citroën team, before returning for the 2014 season, supported by Elfyn Evans, 2012 Junior WRC World Champion, and Robert Kubica in a semi-official team.~

• The car that illustrates these pages, chassis number M-Sports #43, is the one used by Hirvonen for the second half of the 2014 season, before becoming Evans' mount for the first part of the 2015 season... Over 10 official entries at the pinnacle of world rally elite, #43 would finish 8 times in the Top 5, and bring 3 podiums back to the factory. • While this highly desirable and effective Fiesta RS WRC is presented today with its Valentino Rossi livery, it should be noted that it changed hands again in 2017, and continued to race on a national scale, in Italy, then in France, in private hands, sometimes rented. While the car has not raced since 2019, it has nevertheless benefited from a complete overhaul, including a completely rebuilt engine at Pipo, the company that had developed this engine for M-Sport... Factory car, driven by two of the best drivers of their generation, then owned by legend Valentino Rossi, this incredible WRC is ready to race - and win again! - and is sold with a substantial spares package.~
