When Ford introduced the Raptor pickup truck, it was obvious there was one thing in mind: complete and total domination of basically any surface. Hugely powerful, exceedingly quick and capable of speeds unheard of by an off-road production vehicle, the Raptor rewrote the rule book for performance trucks. But for Shelby American, it just wasn’t enough. Shelby knew more could be had, and extracted a lot more from the already capable Raptor with a host of modifications, unofficially creating the new, exotic truck segment.
To build the Shelby Raptor, Shelby American performed a multitude of enhancements, including the installation of a Shelby-Whipple Supercharger and a Shelby Stinger exhaust system, the 6.2L V-8 engine found 575 HP, a sweet improvement over the stock Ford Raptor’s 411 HP. Set upon the original BF Goodrich tires and 17-inch forged aluminum wheels, this Shelby Raptor also hosts an interior unique to the Shelby package, including boost and fuel pressure gauges. The Shelby Raptor is also set apart by specialized body treatments, Shelby graphics and a color-matched bedliner and cover.
This one-owner Canadian-kept truck was driven only during the warmer months, being relegated to a heated shop during the cooler seasons. Complete with remote start, electronic brake control and a front and rear camera system, this Shelby Raptor is rounded out with a Shelby American Vehicle Authenticity Certificate and dealer documentation, including the window sticker and the build sheet.
