The Fiat 850 Spider is a rear-engine platform with a body that was designed and built by Bertone. The Bertone design also featured smooth, essential lines and simple, yet elegant details, it was said that he “gives shape to speed.” This car runs a strong 903-cc engine, and the transmission is a four-speed manual. It is claimed that this car can reach speeds of 90-mph. The sleek exterior has been repainted in yellow with a black convertible top which matches the black interior. It is reported to have less than 50,000 original miles, an all original interior and a tachometer amongst the Veglia instrumentation. The owner reports this to be a “great example of an original spider.”
