It may not be possible to have more fun in a small car than in a Fiat 500; it is so much car for such a little package. Simply put, the famous "Cinquecento" is absolute automotive pleasure. This 1968 Fiat 500L was brought to the California in the mid-1980s, where it was restored and used regularly ever since. During the restoration a larger 650cc, 24bhp engine was installed, a welcome addition that allows this 500 to cruise nicely at 65mph. The car retains its original dark blue color, though it was repainted and a new tobacco-colored interior was installed.

The current owner has used the car as a daily driver in San Francisco for the past two years and the 500L has benefited nicely from regular maintenance by a marque specialist. This 500 is the "Lusso" (Luxury) edition, offering a modernized interior, greater soundproofing and an incredibly large folding sunroof. Though small in size, the car can accommodate four adults (for short distances) and even taller drivers. Nothing gets more smiles or "thumbs up" than this car as the current owner can attest. It has zipped up and down San Francisco's famous hills and comes to auction ready for its next adventures.
