Unveiled at the 2004 SEMA Show and awarded the Design Excellence Award by DaimlerChrysler, this 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T “Extreme” is a one-off build by Roush Industries. The 5.7L/340 HP Hemi V-8 engine is linked to a Borla cat-back exhaust system and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The silver body is fitted with black hood accents and a Roush body kit consisting of a front and rear fascia, side skirts, and a rear spoiler. Rolling on BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW tires with 22-inch chrome Forte Rock Star wheels, the sporty, muscular wagon also offers a 4-wheel independent touring suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS.
Inside, “Roush Performance” has been stitched into the headrests of the Recaro leather-trimmed performance bucket seats fitted to the front and rear, and equipment includes a Woodview brushed stainless dash kit, ACSCO Products interior lighting, and a 268-watt Boston Acoustics Audiophile sound system with six Boston Acoustics speakers and an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit. With power windows, power locks, a power driver’s seat and air conditioning, being Extreme is a lot more comfortable than most might realize.
