Starting life as a 2013 C6 Corvette ZR1, this 2013 Chevrolet Corvette custom split-window coupe was professionally modified and completed from 2019 to 2021 by Doug's Performance Corvettes for Doug Graf, the seller's personal friend and originator of the retro Corvette concept.
Since the early 1990s, Lakewood, Washington's Doug and Carolyn Graf of Classic Reflections Coachworks (CRC) combined the style of first- and second-generation Corvettes with the modern performance of the 1997-2004 C5 and 2005-13 C6 Corvette generations and cutting-edge technologies, processes and materials worthy of the space program, including Sprint CBS, the same composite-sandwich material used for the McLaren-Mercedes SLR and by Aston Martin. Based on an aluminum frame, this 1963 CRC carbon-fiber conversion features power from a 710hp supercharged GM LS9 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
It is upgraded with a Lingenfelter intake, custom stainless-steel exhaust system and exposed carbon-fiber engine compartment trim. Finished in Marcelo Red, the complete carbon-fiber body features a custom-built front air dam, and accents include billet aluminum custom hood louvers and custom-made bumpers. The full custom tan/burgundy leather interior features the additional comfort of Dynamat sound-deadening material, plus extensive amenities, including tilt/telescopic steering, heated power-adjustable seats, dual-zone climate control air conditioning, head-up display, premium Bose stereo speakers, and Apple CarPlay connectivity with front and rear cameras.
Supporting features include new tire-pressure sensors and an Odyssey battery maintained by a trickle charger discreetly hidden inside the fuel-filler cap. Finishing this one-of-one build are HID headlights, painted rocker panels and new ceramic brakes behind painted wheels mounting new low-profile Continental performance radial tires. Protected by ceramic wax exterior treatment and kept in climate-controlled storage when not in use, this custom Corvette is offered with original build documents and service records. 12,132 actual miles.
