This 1966 Corvette, nicknamed 'Blu My Mind,' is a fresh, custom Pro-Touring build by Michels Auto Design out of Pewaukee, WI, completed in 2022. It recently won the 2022 SEMA Battle of the Builders Young Guns category and is a 2022 Goodguys Cool Corvette award-winner. It is powered by a GM supercharged LT5 crate engine delivering 755hp and 715 ft/lbs of torque mated to a GM 8L90 8-speed paddle-shifted automatic transmission. The engine breathes through a Jet-Hot-coated polished exhaust system with quad tips exiting through the tail panel.

The Pro-Touring treatment starts with a Roadster Shop SPEC 7 chassis equipped with 2019 ZR1 spindles and control arms, power rack & pinion steering, and Camaro SS independent rear suspension with 3.73 gears. Stopping power is handled by yellow Corvette ZR1 Brembo electric-powered calipers clamping on 2019 ZR1 15-inch carbon-ceramic rotors. The exterior is stunningly finished in PPG Laguna Blue two-stage paint over a Lamborghini Italian Crème leather custom interior featuring Dakota Digital VHX instrumentation set in a custom dash with a custom center console and a Vintage Air system.

This Pro-Tourer rides on custom 19-inch Forgeline wheels wrapped in massive 355 rear rubber with 275 up front.
