This full custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was built by Springfield Motorsports in Peachland, British Columbia. Power is supplied by a GM crate 502ci engine backed by a Keisler 5-speed manual transmission. It rides on a new jig-mounted and TIG-welded powder-coated full-tube chassis with a custom hand-built 9-inch Dale Gerry rear independent suspension. The front suspension consists of tubular upper and lower control arms with Flaming River power rack & pinion steering. Stopping power comes from 4-wheel Corvette C5 power disc brakes and an added hydro-boost system. The Italian red leather interior was completed by Lee Baxter Interiors.

This Corvette features Vintage Air, Dakota Digital gauges, billet pullies and a serpentine belt, and rides on 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Falken tires on the front and Mickey Thompson tires on the rear. It received First in Class at the Grand National Roadster Show. A removable hardtop is included in this sale.
